As I sit here and reflect, nothing but flashes of sadness surfaces. The past lingers so unpleasantly, always reminding you of the pain that ached your heart. It takes a mountain of courage to shift your mind to a positive thought. You’re always attempting to take a leap but never getting anywhere new.
Today is a new day, to try harder and push through the clouds of darkness. A new life awaits with so much light that you feel weightless. I’ve broken the cycle.
